25/10/2009 		I called out My Plumber after another Plumber on the website let me down. My Plumber came out the week that I called them and quickly identified the part of my boiler that needed replacing. They later rang me the same day to advise me how much the part would cost and made an appointment for the following week when the part was quickly replaced. My Plumber are slightly more expensive that other Plumbers on the website but the additional cost is worth it as they have plumbers available and provide an efficient and reliable service.

24/06/2009 		Had a tap leak that suddenly speeded up and needed urgent attention. My Plumber had the quickest email response, offering a same or next day appointment. First thing next morning the plumber was here. His carried out his work in a friendly, efficient manner, leaving no mess. And the price was reasonable, particularly for such a rapid response. We couldn't have asked for more.

20/02/2009 		When our boiler started failing, I sought the recommendation of  Ben Forster (a local high-end building projects manager) for a top-notch plumber. Without hesitation he recommended Angela and her MyPlumber team.
24 hours later, after very considered responses from both the myplumber office on the phone and the curteous & considerate engineer onsite, parts had been ordered, collected & installed and the boiler was restored to functioning order and all within the cost of the callout fee + parts.

The boiler maintenance guy arrived on time, was very pleasant, did his job, cleaned up after him and pointed out that my drains were blocked (which I knew and had just ignored). He helped arrange for My Plumber to have a drain clearance man come round within an hour. He also did his job promptly and efficiently and cleaned up afterwards.  Great service!!!   Thank you very much.

Having suffered at the hands of cowboys (who caused the leak in the first place) it was with a little trepidation that I began the search for a new plumber. I needn't have worried. The man from My-plumber rang to say he was on his way, arrived on time, identified the problem and fixed it completely. It was a 3-hour job so I wasn't expecting it to come cheap, but having called a number of other companies first My-plumber was more than competitive - you were slightly cheaper! The plumber even explained to me what he was doing so that I could see for myself exactly how the cowboys had caused the problem, and what had been done to put it right. In choosing My-plumber I have purchased not only excellent service but peace of mind - and that is priceless. Thank you; please consider me a very satisfied customer - and I know where I'll be coming next time.

13/01/2009 		A simple replacement of a toilet flush ended up costing over £400 due to major retiling needed. Although some retiling would probably have been needed, the damage seemed unnecessarily extensive and I had to pay an hourly rate to watch my bathrooom being smashed up.

04/01/2009 		Since my initial feedback myplumber went to the effort to contact me yesterday explaining why no one had contacted me. The plumber who eventually came out was excellent and resolved the problem in no time.

I called to Saturday morning for urgent assistance with a leak. I was told someone would call me back. No one called. I called them back and was again told a plumber would call me back ASAP. Again, nothing. It is now Sunday morning and no one has bothered to call me back despite me laeving yet another message this morning. I am very disappointed, given the glowing reviews, with this level of service and hope myplumber are not resting on their laurels.

04/11/2008 		I would like to thank Marion for helping me to organise for my boiler to be repaired.  I have a young family and we woke up to no heating on a Saturday morning.  I called the company and they sent someone out almost immediately.  The engineer clearly knew what he was talking about and fixed the problem there and then.  The charges were exactly what I was told over the phone so no nasty surprises.  Highly recommended and I would certainly use them again.

hot water in cold taps dilemma

25/10/2008 		This is not an easy problem and most plumbers I called had never heard of it. Only two bothered to try and MyPlumber were extremely persevering and honest about not being sure what action should be taken. We agreed to try the cheapest option first (despite the temptation to go for a whole new boiler system). One of their plumbers was not 100% thorough and missed something, but he was honest about being flummoxed and as soon as they realised it was a complex issue they sent a senior person round. Also they are indeed prompt, and the office is full of very courteous and efficent people. I had to remind them that visits were follow ups and therefore charged at the half hourly rate, but equally their senior person never charged his visits. The problem was resolved though none of us really know how, particulary as my system is ancient. MyPlumber continued to keep contact by phone and email to check the results of their various interventions and even after the system has been repaired. So, when I need a new boiler and related extensive pipe work , I will defintely call in MyPlumber. Their quote is fair too.

11/12/2007 I called MyPlumber after my hot water cylinder burst. Within two days they had been round to inspect it, given me an estimate and booked the job in. Russell who came to do the job was punctual, professional and very helpful. He completed the work in the alloted time and was cheerful and polite throughout. I was very impressed with the MyPlumber service and will be recommending them to my friends.

14/09/2007 Dear Dolly Just wanted to drop you a line to give you some feedback about Jason. He was brilliant! He got on with the job, was pleasant and polite. To my great surprise, after he had left, I went back upstairs to put all the furniture back that we had had to move to give him access to the loft space only to find that he had left the room tidy and back to normal. In all my dealings with tradesmen I have never had anyone do that! It was not just put back roughly either - things were in the right place. Please thank him for me!

The standard of workmanship in removing existing bath and tiling and installing new shower and shelving was extremely high with courteous plumbers who knew what they were doing and cleaned up after them. I used My Plumber upon recommendation by a friend and work colleague. The firm provided a quick and efficient service. There was a plumber available to meet my schedule, i wouldnt have to wait weeks, and when the chap turned up he was extremely professional and completed the job very quickly, with no disruption and left the place clean. I was impressed, especially with the cost. I will use this firm for any future plumbing work.

My Plumber installed central heating in my flat and I have been entirely satisfied with the process, from Jamie's first visit to the efficient completion of the work. Jamie was far more thorough and inspired more confidence than other plumbers who came to give quotes, the price was competitive, and the two men who did the work were punctual, reliable and tidy. I have contacted this plumber after reading so many good comments about its services on this site and I can confirm that my experience lived up to expectations. Changed an electric shower in a very reasonable time, did not charge those extortionate amounts you hear about, it was in fact very fair for the whole job. Angela also rung to say that the plumber was half an hour late!! Can you imagine Thames Water or Briti Gas doing that? All in all, a very good service and no doubt I will use them again in the future, if needed.

We had the delight of trying to find a plumber to come out on Friday 23rd December. After trying a fair few on the Chiswick website, I came across My Plumber. They were very helpful and were round at our flat at 4pm on Friday 23rd. Angela in the office surpassed expectations, as she called to let me know they would be late and kept us informed. The job itself turned out to be quite small, but the plumber himself was quick and efficient, therefore I wouldn't hesitate in using them again and recommending them.

Sympathetic on phone to problem of a pipe leak. Clearly pointed out their charging strucure. Workman came at the appointed time. Fixed problem, gave good advice on a future course of actin required. Also he came back an hour later just to check his work had stopped the leak. All in all very happy. also have a good website.

Highly recommended - Angela Glasson & Kaya in the office work hard to arrange a call or appointment; offered a cancellation visit & on the day called to inform me the plumber was a few minutes away. Plumber was polite, friendly, efficient and effective; when an airlock revealed itself just after he left, a call to the office had him back on site within minutes and the problem was resolved just as swiftly. I had mentioned in an email that I would like a quote for some larger-scale work and Jamie (the chief plumber) took the trouble to call ME to arrange a visit - not what one comes to expect in this sector! An impressive service, reasonably priced. Thank you!

I made the appointment for a week ahead. On the day I had to phone to ask why no-one had turned up. When they came it was for 10 minutes. They said we would need a new pump head and left. This diagnosis cost us £82 Despite their claims that they always tell customers that they will have to pay for a full hour and that the price of £70 did not include VAT- we were not told when we made initial contact.We have since spoken to 2 reputable plumbers neither of whom charge for a few minutes visit and diagnosis. A heart surgeon charges less. Poor service all round

They may be ok for very routine or quick
They may be ok for very routine or quickly fixed problems, but I had had a very disappointing experience with getting a bocked toilet sorted out. Overall, it involved 3 visits, one no show and ultimately, the plumber ran off to his next job leaving me with a disconnected foul pipe leaking water and raw sewage all over over the floor under my shower. They didn't have the manpower or, I suspect, the expertise to sort the matter out and I had to call in Pimlico Plumbers as an emergency, at considerable expense.

Called out MyPlumber after seeing it listed on this site. They arrived on time to look at our faulty shower pump. Arranged a time to come back an fit a new one (which was no problem to supply ourselves) and quoted us a reasonable price. They arrived on time to fit the new pump and fitted within an hour. Service was efficient, on time and a pleasure to deal with a company that did what it says on the tin. Would have no hesitation at using them again or recommending them to others.

I was impressed by the way Jamie spent time discussing options and what the customer wanted. His quote was a little higher than British Gas, but after negotiation we asked him to do the job. He and his team arrived on time, worked professionally, tidied up afterwards and did a good job. Jamie's a personable, knowledgeable and professional plumber; I'd recommend him.

Excellent and professional approach - worked fast and fixed leaking valve leading to radiator, which involved draining common heating system in block of flats.Costs £70 / first hour then £35/half hour - all plus VAT.

My Plumber came to my rescue when I need
My Plumber came to my rescue when I needed a corgi plumber to connect my new gas hob in my new kitchen. I had tried lots of other avenues but nobody was available/interested. So they fitted the hob, were very pleasant - but very expensive (ie cost more than the new Neff glass hob!)and it needed to be reworked afterwards as the built in oven could not be fitted in beneath the hob because of the hob pipework.... So if you are desperate yes - but otherwise I would try to find someone else!

We called them out twice, the first time
We called them out twice, the first time about knocking in the pipes and a CH problem. They were excellent. The second time was a very minor job: replacing an outside tap. They sent a new person who was messy and unhelpful and conducted a heated conversation on the phone while doing the job.

I was very impressed with my plumber's service. Jamie Glasson visited to give a quote and is very friendly and informative, and the guys who actually did the work were again very friedly, and did the job in the allotted time - which was critical as they had to fit in with a tiler's work. The quality of the work was excellent.

I found MyPlumber extremely helpful, polite, always telephoned you to explain times and progress.Spent a lot of time advising me regarding a shower room.This was finished to a very high standard and I am delighted with it. I have also had my boiler serviced by them and they are now refurbishing my cloakroom and entrance hall. I would employ them anytime and have already recommended them to several friends.

I can not recommend My plumber enough! One is dealing with the supremely intelligent Angela, over the telephone and/or internet from day one, and the arrangements are therefore peerless. The actual plumbing work undertaken is meticulous, extremely well carried out, careful and considerate. They do not then present an unreasonable bill, as they are available to explain the costs throughout the process, and do not overcharge, and their attention to all detail is extremely impressive, from the beginning to the end of the job

MY-PLUMBER provided me with a prompt, professional, very efficient and very good value service. The engineer came to my mother in law's flat twice. On both occasions the he was very polite and patient with my mother in law, did the job quickly and left the kitchen tidy. Despite a clearly heavy work schedule and the fact that Christmas was approaching, they managed to plan me in and complete the job before the holidays. I can not recommend the services of my-plumber.co.uk highly enough. Like many of us that have to call a plumber, my call was for an emergency. My-plumber genuinely cared about my situation, and did all they could to help. They called me back TWICE to confirm where the plumber currently was and therefore what time I could expect him. They offered me a 2 hour window saying when he would call, meaning I did not have to stay in all day waiting. I found them extremely professional, and may I also say, fun! The plumber himself - Chris- was on time, and got the job done perfectly, while giving me some excellent advice how to avoid a similar problem. They were very fairly priced, and the whole process of dealing with my-plumber.co.uk was an experience that I would be delighted to recommend.

On contacting My Plumber contact details were exchanged and they were happy to liaise direct with the tenant to arrange an appointment. My Plumber's service was highly professional, the level of service and work very high and the plumber extremely courteous. He located a concealed and difficult-to-reach pipe and repaired a leak very skilfully. Others may not have been so persistent or with so much care for the customer and their property. Equally importantly, the team kept me informed about when they would be arriving. Most certainly would use My-Plumber again.

I have used My Plumber now for over a year starting with them putting in my Central Heating and the a few times sorting out general plumbing problems. I can't praise this company enough. Angela and Jamie are extremely helpful and friendly. The plumbers they employ are obviosly hand picked as they are effecient, have a great attitude and good at their trade. They turn up when they are supposeed to and are well priced. Recently I had a problem which meant that I would be without water in my flat. Within an hour an engineer was there and sorted the problem. What particularly impressed me most was that my initial phone call was at about 4.30 in the afternoon and it wqas sorted by 6.00. A very good company

Simon came and gave me a fair price and then the work was carried out without any interuption to usual schedule. The guys - T and Matt were really tidy and pleasant to deal with. Not impressed with the person who dealt with my problem (leaking pipe from washing machine and replacing end section of pipe leading out of the house). Expensive and had to get someone else in to make good the ineffective repairs they made.

was disgusted to find out that the materials used for my boiler repair had been marked up by approxamately 30%,not only that but i had paid vat on these materials twice when presented with the bill, will not be using this company again and recommend any one who does is aware of this practice.
